COMING SOON!

With long-term success in our programs, as well as moral and financial support from a diverse group of funding agencies and private funders, Global 180’s desire for the future has been to multiply our program models in other communities.
The Jeremiah F. Coughlan Foundation approached us with a generous offer to help provide a funding foundation to establish our programs in the Durham region.
Alongside the Coughlan Foundation we have developed a strategy to begin in January 2025, with assistance from Mr. Dave Ryan, the former Mayor of Pickering. We will begin building a network of funders who can assist with the long term sustainability of this project. Our desire is to come alongside other community agencies and organizations to be a positive influence for the youth in this region, helping them to become healthy, well-adjusted adults and citizens in their communities.
In the Spring of 2025 we expect to hire a staff person in Durham to begin building a network of support with community agencies and organizations to partner in this initiative. These organizations will assist with providing community insight and access to volunteers. We plan to initiate programming in two middle schools in the Winter of 2026. And over a five year period our plan is to be active in up to 8 middle schools, impacting 1000 middle school youth and 100 high school student volunteers monthly. We are so excited for this opportunity to expand Global 180 into a new region, make sure you follow along with us as we begin the process and watch out for future updates!
