In 2010 the board of Global 180 came to the unanimous decision to begin a Global 180 initiative in their own home country of Canada, targeting Mississauga, ON as the first metropolis to focus on. The project has been a year in the works and since the inception of 180:Canada, 180 Fuse, (a social program for middle school students) has successfully launched in Streetsville, Mississauga, ON.
Global 180 recognizes that there is a great need to reach the youth of Canada and our hope is that this would be the beginning of a great endeavour for Ontario, and throughout the country. Stay tuned for more details!
